Kiwi 1:1 THC:THCv Energizing Gummies – The Newest Flavor From Wyld

Wyld has once again created a delicious, real-fruit, and purpose-driven gummy that performs exactly as expected. The Wyld Kiwi is a brand new addition to Wyld’s Uplifting Collection. These gummies are perfect for studying, as a pre-workout, or any occasion where you need a boost of clean energy. These bad boys are 25% off every Wednesday for Wyld Wednesday, so it is a perfect time to pick up Wyld Kiwi 1:1 THC:THCv Gummies in store or get them delivered to your home.

This one is a new favorite of mine. I used to be prescribed stimulants, however I found the side-effects to be unpleasant and my doctor always refused to lower my dosage. As such, I am always looking for things to help with focus and energy that aren’t caffeine, because I also dislike the side-effects from that. I legally and ethically cannot say that these gummies are a 1:1 replacement for those things, however I did find that these gummies helped me to complete the tasks I wanted to complete and actually enjoy the process of completing them which is ultimately what matters most.

The THC in these gummies helps to smooth out the edge that I would normally get when operating in a tightly packed schedule with little downtime. The THCv helps me to stay on task and complete things in full prior to moving on to the next task. I also observed a minor reduction in my mile time as I felt real joy and additional motivation to run with these gummies, so they could be good for working out as well.

If you’re looking for a pick-me-up I would say these are an incredible option to check out. Wyld earns a 5 star review for knocking this one out of the park.

What is THCv?

THCv is a freshly discovered cannabinoid that is naturally occurring in the cannabis plant¹. Some African sativa landrace strains like Jack Herer or Durban Poision and certain high-THCv cultivars can contain more significant levels. THCv is dubbed as “diet-weed” due to anecdotal reports of appetite suppression and improved focus. There is also some evidence to suggest that THCv reduced appetite in fasted mice². Granted, we still do not have full clinical studies to confirm these benefits due to the federally illegal status of cannabis.

What is the difference in effects between THC and THCv?

Unlike THC, THCv is generally considered non-psychoactive or only mildly psychoactive at typical doses. I tend to experience a very uplifting or stimulating effect rather than the classic couch-lock of THC. In my experience, THCv appears to act as an appetite suppressant in contrast to THC’s well-known appetite-stimulating effect. Hopefully one day we’ll have some clinical studies to confirm these effects objectively.

How long do Wyld gummies take to kick in?

This was by far my most well-documented and controlled edible experience. With an empty stomach at 7:30AM, I consumed 1 Wyld Kiwi gummy. I was doom scrolling until I felt the effects at roughly 8:15 and by 8:30 I was getting my running shoes on because I felt invincible. It is important to note that the onset of edibles may vary from person to person, 10mg may not be the ideal starting point for everyone, and food that you have consumed will have a very significant impact on the onset times and effects of the edibles you consume. The state of Colorado requires me to tell you that these edibles may take up to 4 hours to onset or cause their full effect. Please consume one 10mg serving or less per session. Please consume responsibly.

How long do the effects of Wyld gummies last?

I began to feel the effects wane around 12:30PM roughly 5 hours later. I did also go for two runs, one for me and one for the dog, I filed late taxes, (my bad,) and I made breakfast and lunch so I could have also been feeling the fatigue of a very busy morning. I wanted to continue this experiment by avoiding caffeine for the whole day, so I consumed another around 1PM, and those effects carried me through 6PM. 5 hours seems to be the sweet spot for these, however it is important to note that your individual metabolism and other factors will impact the duration of the felt effect of these edibles.

How do they taste?

Wyld crushed it with the Kiwi flavor! Some of the higher cannabinoid flavors from Wyld have a tendency to miss the mark when it comes to replicating their fruit counterparts, but the Kiwi is spot on. In my opinion the Wyld Kiwi Gummies are currently Wyld’s best uplifting gummies.

Things to consider:

THCv is highly stimulating in some people. This is a great effect when you’re looking to get things done, but these would be less than ideal for winding down. People who get anxiety from sativa products may have an unpleasant experience with THCv, so start low and go slow if that is something you know you struggle with. I recommend keeping some Ripple Max Relief Riplets around if you’re unsure. They’re fast-acting, high CBD, CBG, CBC, and very low THC and can help calm someone who is anxious from cannabis down.
